School Uniform
All parts of our school uniform are statutory. It shows how proud we are to be members of St Andrew’s Benn C of E Primary School and that we are all equals.
All uniform should all be clearly marked with first and second names
Nursery children should wear the school sweatshirt., but are of course welcome to wear the full uniform.
Uniform can be purchased either online or in store from the Webb Ellis Shop (in Rugby town) or online with My Clothing.

As well as the uniform listed below, My Clothing also stocks name labels, a shower-proof reversible fleece with the school logo on and the school book bags. Book bags are also available from the school office £7.00, if you would like one of these, then orders and payments can be made via School Spider.
The uniform consists of:
Black or grey school trousers, skirt or shorts (smart)
White or blue school polo shirt (with or without the crest)
Blue school sweatshirt or cardigan
Black, white or grey tights or socks
Blue and white checked summer dresses
YEAR 6 ONLY - can wear Leavers hoodies
Children are not permitted to wear any other variations of clothing such as jeans, leggings, jogging bottoms or any other named clothing.
Children must wear black school shoes without patterns. They MUST NOT wear high heels or trainers. If children wish to wear boots, please ensure they are ankle length boots only.
PE Kit
Black shorts or tracksuit bottoms
White T-shirt
Black pumps/plimsolls for indoor PE
Trainers for outdoor PE
School Tracksuit - hoody and jogging bottoms (these can be purchased from Webb Ellis only) or they may wear a black or blue tracksuit with no branding on.
Jewellery
They may wear stud earrings and a watch. Children must be able to remove these for PE lessons.
Children must not wear hoops of any size - these are very dangerous to wear at school.
No other jewellery is permitted.
Hair
Children may have short hair but we do not allow any shaved patterns or lines. The braiding of hair is permitted, provided that any colours that are weaved into it are only of a natural hair colour (i.e. a shade of black, brown, blonde or ginger) and that there is not an extreme different between this and the child’s natural hair colour.
Make-up
Children are not permitted to wear nail varnish or any other types of make-up or glitter.
Swimming
Swimming lessons are part of the National Curriculum. Your child should take a swimming costume; a towel and underwear and a weekly payment to cover the cost of transport, not the lessons. These payments should be sent into school in an envelope clearly marked with for after the session.
Any children who do not wear the correct uniform in school will need to change into the spare clothing and shoes we keep in school.
